About Bullwhips

Bullwhips have been popularized by movies like Indiana Jones, but they have a rich history with roots in cultures all around the world. In comparison to other whips, bullwhips are generally heavy and have a more severe taper, allowing it to roll out and crack with ease.

Unlike other whips, the bullwhip has an integral handle and stiff transition, relying on more leverage for the energy transfer of the crack.

About My Bullwhips

My bullwhips are made with a weighted core, two plaited bellies, and a 16-plait overlay. Crafted from nylon cord, these bullwhips are low maintenance and require very little upkeep. I end each whip with a 4-point fall hitch for durability and longevity.

The whip is then dipped in melted beeswax to help preserve it by protecting from water and dirt. The wax also adds weight to the whip for more mass.
