Original: all grass no grain suet tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic arrowroot, magnesium hydroxide, organic sodium bicarbonate
Sandalwood Cedarwood Bergamot: all grass no grain suet tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic arrowroot, magnesium hydroxide, organic sodium bicarbonate, essential oils of: sandalwood, cedarwood, bergamot.
Tangerine Teatree Patchouli: all grass no grain suet tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic arrowroot, magnesium hydroxide, organic sodium bicarbonate, essential oils of: tangerine, tea tree, patchouli.
A balm is better if you want something more concentrated and long-lasting. It’s firm, a little goes a long way, and it tends to work well for very dry spots, hands, elbows, or nighttime use where you want it to really sit on the skin and seal in moisture.
A whipped tallow is better for everyday use. It’s lighter, spreads easily, and absorbs faster because of the air whipped into it. People usually prefer it for the face or full-body application because it feels less heavy and more “lotion-like” without actually being a lotion.
So in simple terms:
- Balm = stronger, more protective, targeted use
- Whipped = lighter, easier, daily moisturizer

Our tallow is grass-fed and finished, free from any chemicals—including pesticides and fertilizers used on pastures!
Tallow (especially grass-fed) is one of the most bio-compatible moisturizers you can put on your skin. It naturally mirrors the structure of human skin oils, which means:
- your skin recognizes it,
- absorbs it easily,
- and uses it effectively.
Rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, tallow is also high in Stearic & Palmitic acid, Oleic acid, and Conjugated Linoleic acid (CLA). Which means it:
- Contains skin nourishing fatty acids
- Highly bioavailable

Store in a cool, dry place. You do not have to refrigerate, but you can. The cooler you keep it, the harder the consistency will become.
Always use a clean and dry hand/finger or utensil to avoid contaminating your jar. We reccomend using our tallow within 6 months.

We make all our tallow fresh and in small-batches, so please allow for a few extra days to process your order in the event we don’t have something on hand. Just know that it’s being made fresh!

Tallow is very similar in composition to our own oils and sebum, allowing our body to readily absorb it. It is generally non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging). In fact, most of our customers find that it helps alleviate dry skin and breakouts.
This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It is designed to neutralize odor-causing compounds while creating an environment less favorable to odor-producing bacteria.
Yes!
Our Original is just tallow and designed for whole body (external) use. Our other blends can be applied to the face as well, but just know which oils, resins, and herbs you are sensitive to.
Some people find that castor oil, for instance clogs their pores. Or perhaps you are sensitive to essential oils.

Our tallow is processed and rendered with the utmost intention and care. Our animals are raised with respect and honor.

We’ve worked very hard to formulate a deodorant that is safe, clean, and effective. We forgo certain ingredients, such as beeswax and clays, to prevent pore clogging and reduce the risk of staining clothes. We end up with a cream-like consistency that goes on smooth and absorbs quickly.
Us and many others have come to love and enjoy the jar-style deodorant as opposed to the classic stick.
Each jar of our tallow deodorant comes with a natural wooden applicator.
It really does. Some folks find they prefer blends with essential oils or herbs as opposed to original. Everybody is different.
We’ve had ample opportunity to test different formulations (farm work), so we know what works and what doesn’t. And we’ve had great success with ours.
